You whipped up your eggs, tofu scramble — whatever. You even took 20 seconds to heat up a tortilla in your "My coffee is still brewing" morning grog. Now, you may want to throw everything in the shell and call it good. Remember, if you do this, you are a quitter. And, you have goofed.

Goodbyes vary from culture to culture. Some wave. Others bow. Still more bid adieu through a series (read eight or nine) reaching attempting to simultaneously bring an interaction to a close and at the same time stave off the unpleasantness of saying, "Farewell." Anyone who lives between longitude 43° 34'N to 49° 23'N and latitude 89° 34'W to 97° 12'W has experienced the quintessential "Minnesota goodbye."
